About Us
InsideMiso Art is a contemporary dance company and creative platform founded in Miami by Cuban artists Leidy Torres and Kenzo Carrión. Conceived as an experimental space, InsideMiso is dedicated to the creation, research, and transmission of contemporary dance as a living and evolving language.
Our work is rooted in the belief that the body is not only a physical instrument, but a powerful medium for expression, awareness, and transformation. Through movement, we explore emotional states, human relationships, identity, and the social structures that shape our lived experiences.
InsideMiso operates at the intersection of artistic creation and pedagogy. Our stage works, audiovisual projects, and training programs are deeply interconnected, all emerging from a shared practice of physical research, improvisation, and emotional inquiry. Technique, for us, is not an end in itself, but a tool that supports freedom, clarity, and authenticity in movement.
Collaboration is a fundamental pillar of our practice. We actively engage with musicians, visual artists, choreographers, filmmakers, and cultural institutions, expanding the language of dance through interdisciplinary dialogue and shared creative processes.
